The July Matamata Swifts school holiday football programme wrapped up this afternoon after three days of fun at the Domain.

The programme’s head coach, Martin Redwood, was pleased with the effort and enthusiasm on show. “The improvement in all of the players over just three days is impressive and I’d like to congratulate everyone on their work,” said Redwood after the programme had wrapped up.

Swifts 1st team player, Lawrence Clothier, assisted Redwood and enjoyed working with such an enthusiastic group of footballers.

The club is looking at running a futsal-based camp during the next school holidays. More information will be available during term 3.
