The Swifts reserves have won again in Waikato Division A, this time beating a Claudelands Rovers Northerners side that chose to leave the Domain 20 minutes before the final whistle.

Jamie Cox, David Hyslop and Jono Crook scored the goals that gave the reserves another vital three points. The match, which had generally been played in great spirit, ended early after a Claudelands player was sent off for what appeared to be foul language. He was followed by a team mate who received a second booking in the aftermath of the first sending off. The visitors then chose to leave the field and didn’t return.

It was a disappointing way to end the match but the reserves will be happy with another three points which keeps them firmly in the title race.
