It’s fair to say a lot’s happening this weekend, but not too much of it’s at the Domain. But there is this…

On Sunday, the Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies host Melville United in the Waikato Women’s Cup semi-final. Melville will arrive as favourites but the Swifts are just one step away from playing off for silverware so will be right up for the, er, challenge.

Before that, Comag Matamata Swifts and Richardson Racing Stables Swifts Reserves head to Te Awamutu to play their respective Loaded WaiBOP Premiership and Championship opponents from that club on Saturday, while the A team head to Hamilton to play the always delightful Eastern City.

We host games for three of our eight junior teams, along with the Mini-Kickers group, on Saturday morning.

The club’s futsal team makes their Loaded Futsal Premiership debut on Sunday evening when they travel to The Peak in Hamilton to play Kukuvojo.
