We have a bit of a disjointed weekend to look forward to ( you get that when it’s a long one…).

Comag Matamata Swifts continue their 2017 ISPS Hand Chatham Cup journey, but have to wait until Monday to kick off their round 2 match against another Auckland-based side, Unimount Bohemian Celtic. The match is at Bill McKinley Park in Panmure and kicks off at 2pm. Unimount competes in the AFF/NFF Conference, a comparative league to the Loaded WaiBOP Premiership. If you’re in the neighbourhood you know what to do.

Before then, we have two games on Saturday. The Richardson Racing Stables Swifts Reserves head to Rotorua United for a 12.30pm kick-off, while the Swifts A team plays Ngaruawahia 1st team at the Domain (also starting at 12.30pm).

The Challenge Matamata Swifts Ladies don’t have a game, due to Queen’s Birthday Weekend, while our Junior 8th to 12th grade sides also have the weekend off.

We WILL, however, be running our Mini-Kickers programme at the usual time and place – 9am to 10am at the Matamata Domain.
